A recent article in the NYTimes detailed out not only the tremendous increase in gold prices these days, but also the Gold Rush going on in the Yukon. Alaska is where The Gold Cone was invented and where it still serves best as a quick and utilitarian method to quick pan and heck, even feed [...] I was able to get in touch with the original Alaskan prospector who designed the GoldCone as a preliminary to possibly filming him coning as well as providing video history of his experiences.
